
CCPA is proud to support the local paralegal community by investing in the next generation of paralegals and furthering those already established in the profession. One way the CCPA exhibits this support is through scholarships. To ensure that the CCPA’s scholarship has a broad impact, one (1) scholarship award of up to $250.00 per calendar year is available.
In order to apply for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

- Presently enrolled in one of the following (all located/based in the Central Coast): Paralegal Studies Associate’s Degree program, Certificate program which satisfies the requirements of Business and Professions Code section 6450, et seq., successor provisions, OR Enrolled in any other program that relates to the Paralegal occupation such as notary courses, career development courses, etc.
- Proof of completion of at least one course within said program OR proof of enrollment (notary course, career development course, etc) ; and
- A grade point average of 3.0 or better (if in an associate degree or certification program)
*Winner will also receive a FREE CCPA membership for one year*
If you meet the above requirements, please complete the Scholarship Application along with (1) proof of completion of at least one course in the Paralegal Program (if in an associate degree or certification program) OR proof of enrollment (notary course, career development course, etc); (2) proof of 3.0 or higher GPA (if in an associate degree or certification program); (3) a letter of recommendation from an instructor, supervisor, or work manager; (4) a short essay addressing your career goals
