Program Director

Danielle Benzon joined Carmel & Naccasha in 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience in the legal field. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a focus on law and society from the University of California Davis. In addition, Danielle has achieved an Associate in Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Allan Hancock College, along with Associate of Arts degrees in Legal Studies and Liberal Arts with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Cuesta College.

Before joining Carmel & Naccasha, Danielle worked for the San Luis Obispo Superior Court in the traffic and criminal clerk’s office, juvenile courtroom assignment, and in many criminal courtrooms. During her time there, she managed high-volume criminal court calendars, contested hearings, and jury trials. Danielle brings a wealth of knowledge and a treasure trove of fascinating anecdotes from her experiences at the Court

Danielle was raised on the Central Coast and decided to return to her roots after completing her college education. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, candle making, and spending time with her husband and their dogs, Mocha and Oso, and their cat Tucker.
