
Celesta Romero
Celesta is a paralegal at Hall Hieatt Connely & Bowen LLP and has over 20 years of experience in the legal field, having begun her career in 2004.
Celesta earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in 2010. She began her legal career in 2004 working as a legal clerk for James McKiernan while attending Cal Poly and has performed paralegal work since 2011. In 2022, she joined Hall Hieatt Connely & Bowen LLP. Celesta is a member of the paralegal profession pursuant to Business & Professions Code Section 6450.
Prior to working locally in law, Celesta’s first exposure to the legal field—and her first job out of high school—was as a Student Office Assistant with the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office. She initially pursued studies in Nutrition at Cal Poly and worked at French Hospital, ensuring patients’ dietary needs were met.
Outside of the office, Celesta enjoys staying active by hiking and playing in rec softball leagues in San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. She also loves live music events, scenic coastal drives, and spending time with family and friends. In 2020, she adopted a 12-year-old black cat named Shaq from Woods Humane Society:)
