Leanne Phillips

Leanne is a civil litigation paralegal at Ernst Law Group in San Luis Obispo. She earned an Associate of Science degree in the ABA-approved Paralegal program at the College of the Sequoias and has over 30 years of experience working as a paralegal. Leanne earned an MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts from the University of California at Riverside, Palm Desert, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in history, from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She earned a copyediting certificate from the University of California at San Diego. Leanne is a voting member of the National Book Critics Circle and currently volunteers as a Fiction Editor at Kelp Journal and Books Editor at GXRL. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, beachcombing, seeing films and plays, listening to live music, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Leanne currently serves as the Central Coast Paralegal Association Secretary.
