Andre, Morris & Buttery is seeking an experienced Paralegal for our Estate Planning,
Trusts & Probate Group. This position requires someone who possesses either a paralegal
certificate from an accredited program, an undergraduate degree and a minimum of three years’ experience working as an estate planning and administration paralegal, or a high school diploma plus formal and extensive training as a paralegal in estate planning and administration.
Experience should include: (i) drafting and reviewing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, advance directives, and other related documents; (ii) coordinating the probate process, including filing petitions, preparing inventories of assets, and responding to creditor claims; (iii) communicating with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and government agencies; and (iv) conducting legal research. Applicant must also be comfortable and proficient in working with numbers. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong writing skills and an ability to work well with others. Salary commensurate with skills, education and experience with a range between $26.00/hr. to $37.00/hr.
